Twistpad features a built in utility to compare files differences in two text files.
After invoking the
Compare Files command, choose two files locally saved in any folder
using the respective browse button.
Additionally you can select files currently being
edited in Twistpad. Internal file are recognized by their single name and between
brackets eg: [somefile.txt]. This can be useful for comparing a currently
editing session with the contents of the same file saved on disk.
Pressing the "More" button reveals the compare options available:
- Ignore case: Text case will not be taken in account comparing the text
- Show syntax highlight: If documents have an associated syntax definition, the syntax turned off in the both compare window documents.
- Ignore Blanks: Blank lines will not be taken in account comparing the text
Refer to the
Files Compare topic for more information.
Note : The syntax highlight option is not available in the 30 day trial version of Twistpad.
